Is Buc-ee's a gas station?
Yes. Every Buc-ee's sells fuel, and the travel centers are some of the largest gas stations in the country. The newest stores, like Goodyear and Sevierville, have about 120 fueling positions, so there's rarely a wait for a pump.
How many gas pumps does Buc-ee's have?
It depends on the store. The large travel centers built in recent years have around 100 to 120 pumps; Katy was the first store built with 120. The small original stores near Lake Jackson have far fewer. See the biggest Buc-ee's.
Buc-ee's gas prices
Buc-ee's is known for pricing fuel competitively, and its prices are often at or below nearby stations. Prices change daily and differ by store, so this guide doesn't list gas prices. For today's price at a specific store, check a live fuel-price app or the price sign as you pull in.
Fuel types
- Regular, mid-grade and premium unleaded at every store.
- Diesel for cars and pickups (not 18-wheelers, which aren't allowed).
- Ethanol-free gasoline at many travel centers; our directory lists it at 35 stores.
- DEF at the pump at many stores.
EV charging

Trucks and trailers
Buc-ee's doesn't allow 18-wheelers, and since February 2026 it has also turned away other commercial trailers. Details in the FAQ.
