Four new stores opened this year, including the chain's first in Ohio, Arizona and Arkansas.

New states getting their first Buc-ee's
Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Utah and Wisconsin do not have a Buc-ee's yet but have a store announced. Utah's is the furthest out.
Is Buc-ee's coming to my state?
Indiana: Local reports in 2026 said Buc-ee's was working on a site near Greenwood, south of Indianapolis, and another in Boone County. No opening date has been announced.
Oklahoma: There have been early talks around Oklahoma City, but no confirmed Buc-ee's project had been announced as of September 2026.

Recently closed or closing
Buc-ee's has been retiring some of its older, smaller convenience stores in Texas as it builds larger travel centers. The Port Lavaca store is expected to close and become a 7-Eleven (store page).
